Garden Management System

Garden Management System. Yeah...from my corporate years when being organized meant survival. Now I use Excel to organize my garden. Green is planted, blue are the ponds, white -not planted. Keeping track of what we plant is important because we live on a hill,we kept most original trees and vegetation and organized the garden in small bits all over the place. This is how I remember what I planted.

No Waste: Planting Garlic

No waste: planting garlic. Since it rained a lot last night and the soil is no longer frozen, we used the opportunity to plant garlic. All the small ones that we've been saving for the past weeks got stuck in the ground, pointy end up...that's it, job done...

The Last Peppers of the Season 2022

Picked today the last hot peppers from the little improvised greenhouse. They can no longer stand the cold and snow so they will ripen in the cellar. This year we had severe drought so the peppers, more dead than alive started producing only now in late autumn. It's ok. Thank you, guys and see you in spring, I mean the peppers :)
